Experience the beauty of the Thar Desert with our 2 Night 3 Day Desert Experience, featuring an authentic camel safari, charming desert villages, hidden oases, mesmerizing sunset views, and overnight stays in the desert. Itinerary

Day 1

06:00 am

06:00 am – Depart from Jaisalmer by jeep to the campsite, approximately 50 km away (about a 1-hour drive). Upon arrival, meet your camels and guides, and enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared by your guides.

08:30 am to 12:00 pm – Embark on an exciting 3-hour camel safari through the desert, exploring its mesmerizing landscapes. During your ride, you’ll have the option to visit two small villages.

12:00 pm to 03:00 pm – Lunch followed by rest in the shade of the tree as the sun is fierce.

03:00 pm to 05:00 pm – Continue your camel safari with another approx. 2 hours ride, reaching the sand dunes in time for a breathtaking sunset. Take in the stunning views and enjoy the serene desert environment.

Evening – Watch as a delicious dinner is prepared over the fire and conclude your first day with the dreams of the desert while sleeping under the clear starry sky on your clean and cozy bedrolls.

Day 2 Morning

Morning – Wake up early to experience the captivating sunrise, followed by a delicious breakfast. The day continues with exciting explorations of lesser-visited tracks and hidden gems in the desert. (From day-2, visits to villages are optional based on the group’s preferences.)

08:30 am to 12:00 pm – Enjoy a 3-hour camel ride through the desert, where you’ll experience the unique environment and observe desert vegetation and native wildlife.

12:00 pm to 03:00 pm – Savor a lunch break and relax in the shade of a tree to escape the intense midday sun. Participate in the process of cooking together, from preparing ingredients to grilling and seasoning.

03:00 pm to 05:00 pm – Set out for an evening camel ride of about 2 hours, heading to a remote sand dune destination. Witness a stunning, uninterrupted desert sunset and enjoy the serene and dramatic views as the sun sets over the horizon.

Evening – Watch as a delicious dinner is prepared over the fire, and feel free to join in the cooking process with your guide. Conclude your second day by sleeping under the clear, starry sky on your clean and cozy bedrolls, drifting off to dreams of the desert.

Day 3 Morning

Morning – Wake up to the breathtaking sunrise and enjoy a healthy, delicious breakfast. The day’s trek will continue with visits to stunning landscapes and the serene desert environment.

08:30 am to 12:00 pm – Embark on a 3-hour camel ride, immersing yourself once again in the desert’s unique environment and observing its native wildlife.

12:00 pm to 03:00 pm – Relish a hearty lunch and rest in the shade of a tree to escape the midday heat.

03:00 pm to 05:00 pm – Experience one more camel ride, lasting about an hour or longer as per your preference, as you gallop back to the campsite. From there, return to Jaisalmer by jeep, with a scenic one-hour drive.

06:00 pm – Conclude your tour with treasured memories and a deep sense of fulfillment.
